Well, I'm not pro, but I hope to be one shortly...but it's probably not an
uncommon practice. I took up the habit after blues stringer B.B.King, who
as most know, named his guitar Lucille.

My first sax was named Nancy, after the beautiful redhead I bought her
from.

My second sax is Belldandy, the Norse goddess of the Present (she has two
sisters, Urd of the Past and Skuld of the Future...but I doubt
I'll name any horns after them...)

And my Clarinet? My clarinet is named HEPBILS (pronounced hep-BLEE). Why
that? It's a Greenline...so I came up with this twisted acronym
(with some assistance from my roommate.)

Highly
Expensive
Particle
Board
Imitation
Licorice
Stick

And despite what you might think, NO, I do NOT have too much spare time on
my hands. ^_^;;
