If the last thing you did was to work on the facing, then I'd start by
bringing the specs back to what you started with before making the last
change. My guess is that the curve was made too abrubt near the tip, but
it's pretty much impossible to determine this without hearing or
measuring it. If the problem is due to an adjustment to the facing, then
it should be fine once you put the original facing back on. (You may
need to scrape the upper baffle a bit, if this refacing causes the sound
to become too bright or thin.) If the last thing you did was internal,
tell me the specifics of what you did, and I'll try to come up with a
solution.
As for the question about set-ups, Mouthpiece Heaven has such a listing
for saxophonists, but I don't know if there is such a list for
clarinetists.
