Fortunately, Guy has a most generous exchange policy. If you purchase a 3.0
from WW&BW, you can exchange it directly with Legere for a 3.25 or whatever
strength you really wanted. As long as the sale was actually made through a
dealer, he has flexibility to deal with things himself in post-sales support.

Unfortunately, WW&BW has had backlog problems with the Legere's; it took four
weeks for my last one. It was glorious, just like my previous Legere's.

Being a wimp, I play a 3.0 Mitchell Lurie Premium on my Portnoy BP02
mouthpiece, and I find the Legere 2.5 is just about perfect. I bought the 2.5
intending to trade it for a 2.75, but the 2.5 is just so darn good for me that
I decided to keep it.

On a separate note, I got Tom Ridenour's book on Clarinet Fingerings last week.
In just in one week, it has already provided several revelations for me. This
is a fabulous resource.
