I have great regards for the LeGere Reed.

I own six of these critters.

I have been using ( I sort of hate to write this) one of these reeds,
serial # 575, for the past fifteen months continually.

The very tip of the reed is warped away from the tip of the mouth piece.

I use a Ridenhour # 11 mouth piece.

In many, many, many, years of playing I might have had a reed or two that
is superior than this reed.

In Florida humidity is a real problem.

I have had good tonal acceptance by a retired principal of a major
symphony orchestra.

Pick any 16 month period of my life and the cost of reeds during this
time period would scare you. Boxes of Vandoren V12 that I would buy and
store for a year before using.

Placement of reed on mouth piece is critical.

Any body want to buy 5 LeGere reeds that I am not using ?!!!

I sure enjoy playing the horn instead of fussing with reeds. Put the
instrument togeather and start playing!
