I haven't been paying much attention to the various threads on this - too
busy, sorry. But after reading Niel quoted and David responding. I have a
question.

Don't you think part of being on this list is to be made aware of
commercial availablity/opportunities for clarinettists? I for one WANT to
know when there's a new clarinettist to listen to on line, or someone is
selling clarinet part (rare or otherwise) cheaply, or there's a reed
giveaway, or something interesting on ebay, or WHATEVER. I think it's
relevant to clarinet playing.

And this is not just because I have an mp3 site, and clarinet parts for
sale in the sneezy classifieds. I enjoyed Michelle Zukovsky's mp3 site and
was glad I was made aware of it. I hope you will all tell me of your sites,
or anything you offer for sale. That way I don't have to check the sneezy
classifieds every day.

Of course it can become annoying if the same person is hawking the same
thing every day. And if you don't like getting 53 messages in your email
box every day, get the digest.

What has been referred to as commercial postings I think are part of being
informed about all things clarinet.
