Subj: [kl] sanding tip
Date: Sat, 22 Apr 2000 23:40:55 -0400

It's straight across the tip. I hold the reed between the thumb and the
forefinger, then run the sandpaper along the arc. I actually do it
twice, I turn the reed around and start from the tip again. Since then,
I've been experimenting with other ideas about this. If I come with
anything I will let the list know. The sandpaper I use is Garnet 220.
Just a thin strip ,of course. AG
