She couldn't resist that most evocative picture, but she was afraid of
contributing to a commercial thread getting out of control, and besides, the
Lobanized response came out about 2000 words too long and much too parlous
close to product defamation to post on a public list....

Actually, I theorized that Walter might have used practical alchemy to
combine polymer and garden slugs into a living mouthpiece that would adapt to
the player's needs, though somewhat... sluggishly. Golly, I'd have hated to
be right about something like that, so I'm glad Walter ended the suspense!
