>From what I remember of the bad ole AFofM, scale is set by each local. If
you play in a local other than the one you belong to, you get paid by the
host local's scale. You also pay the work dues of that local.

I got out of the AF of M mostly because I was seeing very little money and
what I did see ended up going into work dues.
