To All,

I wanted to update you on my progress in my new endeavor as a Clarinet and
Percussion teacher. I have finally received a sellable copy of a Video
that I have been working on for the last 6 weeks. 1st Lesson learned from
this process; Don't have friends help. 2nd Lesson learned: If you don't
abide by the 1st lesson, get a contract.

This video is called "Variations on Ted Reed's Syncopation for the Modern
Drummer". I would call this a shameless plug, but there is probably not a
large market on this list, so I don't have to worry to much about being
called a shameless Capitalist.

On the other fronts, I have had some interest in a home school band that I
trying to start. A few more students have been added. It seems I get more
percussion students where I live, and most of the Clarinet Students
(approximately 100%) are at Music stores that I teach at on the other side
of the County. Because of the Video project I have not had a lot of time
to get out in my area, but that will soon change.

I'm working on a portfolio and newsletter to send to the area schools. The
newsletter will carry information about the Clarinet, Drums, and Marimba.
The money has been holding out so far.

If anyone happens to have a spare Marimba laying around please let me know.

That's all folks,

Jay Webler
Jay's Clarinet and Percussion
