I'll contribute some more that you didn't hear yet :)
1. We got a new puppy.
2. My step mother had a baby.
3. My brother yells at me when I play.
4. My father won't turn the TV off.
5. I got a new Playstation.

My personal excuses:

!. Now it's too late at night again.
2. I am so tired.
3. I'll practice tomorrow.

No - yikes, - tomorrow is too late ! It's Holy Week and I play church
organ for the next four days! Gotta run!
