Good point....and thanks for the research!

If your reed clipper is dull, blunt, rusty, etc, and it actually DOES damage
your reeds, by all means DONT clip them.

But dont ban the practise because a tool needs repair or replacement.

Otherwise, after the first flint knife lost its edge the caveman said "OK
dear, you have to gnaw the hide off the buffalos again, I KNEW these knife
thingys wouldn't last.....""
