When I was on Opera-L, the owner used to ban people all the time. Passions
ran high. If you think clarinetists are bad, you oughta see
opera-lovers. *I* got banned for awhile until I learned how to control my
manic tongue, other people got banned, people used to send poison pen notes
back and forth privately using--what else?--AOL logins.

The one time I think I took off after someone here, David Hattner, I was a
bit nasty but I DON'T think I descended to the level of outright filthy
language. If I had, I suspect Mark would would have admonished me.

Mark in fact (stroke time, Mr. Charette!:-) is a rather relaxed
site-owner. He hosts my mostly poetry site on Sneezy. Apparently he got a
note from SOMEONE about the language in some of the poems, which he
considered inappropriate. Hey, I write 'em as I see 'em. In any case,
Mark told the guy something that got rid of him, I'm not sure what. That's
why I threw in the "disclaimer" on the main page before the poem titles
begin appearing.

Why the #)*$# is it necessary for us to resort to retorts here on the level
of "Yo' mama"? That's the name of the famous Soul Cellist. Stuff like
that really doesn't belong on a list dedicated to making music.
