I did not mean to say that my former teacher mentioned "pinched fibers" when
we made my Cordier push through. We never talked about that. Basically, it
just seemed to cut cleaner than before it pushed through. I doubt if it had
anything to do with the fibers....it probably didn't. It just had to do with
making the trimmer cut cleaner. I personally have never been into the fiber
thing. I have sanded the top toward the tip some after I clipped it just to
smooth it out a little, but I don't always do that. It depends on how it
plays after I clip it.
