You got that right, Neil. I used to keep a silver dollar in my tenor sax case.
Its curve is the same as a tenor reed. By laying a soft reed on the coin with
just a wee bit of tip hanging over, I could burn back the reed in lieu of a reed
trimmer. The burn stopped at the edge of the coin. Worked like a charm.
