Does anyone know the correct title, conductor or CD
catalogue number for Playford's "English Dancing Master"?
Heard it on the radio last week and just had to find it.
The local record purveyors cant find it with the info given
me by the radio station. I had a collection of old English
dance music that seemed to be rather odd, as though it was
written recently for wierd instrmuntation. It sparked the
arranger in me so I want to re-do some of the tunes for a
solo clarinet ensemble with band accomp. The label is Dorian
and it was performed by the 'Baltimore Consort'
