Bill: With the exception of "Flat Foot Floogy" they are simply inane lyrics of
tunes popular in the forties. One of the practicioners of music satire was Spike
Jones (not Lee) who did a parody of otherwise romantic love songs and mangled them
up nicely. I could make the point that in the 40s we recognized nonsense lyrics
in Pop music as comedy. Today I'm not sure.
