If I remember correctly (and I may not), the Mozart effect pertained, in part, to
the tempo of the music. There was something in the study which led the experimenters
to conclude that listening to music with a pulse of 60 beats per minute or less had
the effect of making the brain more able to absorb new information and retain it (or
something like that). 'Never heard of a follow-up to validate.
