Tony,

There is no quick way for a wonderful tone. The ideal tone is a lifelong goal.

More air and resonance is is the first step. After you reach maximum
resonance, then you can begin to address the issue of tone colors, shading,
colors, etc., and the tone colors the composer might have had in mind.
