(J I realize that this was only a minor point in your response, but, as a high (B
(J school student, I must say that homework is, in fact, "heavy." Music (B
(J students, in particular, tend to be more talented and more advanced (B
(J students, and they therefore tend to surpass the requirements for graduation (B
(J by taking harder, more challenging classes with more homework per night. (B
(J Thank you for letting me be nitpicky on this small point.(B

(JAs a high school student, I know what it's like to be doing all of those (B
(Jthings and still putting music as top priority. The adults on this list don't (B
(Junderstand at all, what we are capable of doing. People at our school take (B
(Jthe hardest classes they can, be in band, play sports, participate in drama, (B
(Jdo other outside of school activities. If you say they don't have the time to (B
(Jdo all of that, you are wrong. Everyone has time to spare, but usually wastes (B
(Jtime. When was the last time you sat in the living room couch thinking of (B
(Jsomething to do and ended up watching tv for hours. Honestly, I am not the (B
(Jbest at time management, but I manage to fit everything in my schedule, (B
(Jpracticing, school work, etc. A great example is a person that went to (B
(JHarvard last year from our school. People don't have to neglect school work (B
(Jin order to be a commited member of a band. The parents who say kids don't (B
(Jhave time...you are wrong!(B
