Some parents put their children in so many activities that the child barely
has time to get to all the activities, much less do outside preparation. One
post spoke so many activities, I don't see how that child has time to 1)
prepare for all these activities, 2) fit them all in without conflicts, 3) do
their homeowrk, 4) rest, and 5) be a kid. No wonder kids don't have much
commitment to things. They flit from one thing to another non-stop. Some
kids are just in too many things. Parents should think about alllowing their
children to participate in a reasonable amount of activities and maybe the
child will have more commitment to and more time for the ones they are in.
There is my $0.02.
