Here is the deal. As a parent of kids who juggle soccer, clarinet, piano,
girl scouts, school plays, etc., it. becomes hard to please all the
teachers, coaches, directors and leaders. Everyone thinks of their special
interest as vital. A lot of parents expose their kids to a lot of
activities. The student's likes and dislikes, and their talents sort
themselves out over time. To you teachers, we all appreciate how difficult
it is, but sometimes delivering Girl Scout cookies is the most important
thing on that Saturday afternoon. It does not mean that you do not have a
committed clarinet student.
