Hello all,
I was wondering if anyone has tried doing a recital in the area that they=
=
teach, where they invited students, through flyers and other forms of =
advertising? If any of you have, was it effective?<
I did this when I lived in Utah and was working in a music store there.
Unfortunately, I didn't get much response (but my family was great:-).
However, I always attributed this to the fact that I was competing with
college professors for students and the high density of teachers in the a=
rea.
I had a great time with recital, which was a mini marathon as I was perfo=
rming
on clarinet, flute, and oboe.
