I know this whole high-priced reed auction is pretty funny,
but I can't help also feeling a little sad on behalf of that
one ignorant loving mom or dad, who only wants the best for
their child. People love their kids so much that sometimes
they'll do just about anything to see the look of elation
and delight on that child's face when they present them with
a surprise gift that the salesperson said was "the best thing
on the market." If I thought it was worth my time, I'd be
tempted to write an angry note to the seller of those reeds.
Is there any way to alert people on eBay when a scam is afoot?

P.S. Spare me the "foot" jokes.
