Subj: [kl] Mouthpiece Thanks
Date: Wed, 5 Apr 2000 20:19:44 -0400

My thanks to all who gave me advice on mouthpieces dating back to last
year. I have at last found myself in the financial position to do something
about it. Adjusting to a new lifestyle after accepting "voluntary" early
retirement has not been easy, but life is now beautiful.

After trying several, I finally settled on a Van Doren B46. On my
bottom-of-the-range student Bundy the sound is now sweet and rich. The
chalumeau and clarion notes now sound as though they are produced on the
same instrument. Such a joy! I can now have fun playing with as well as
playing the clarinet. Thank you.

Jim
