The mouthpiece that I play on every day, a Mike Lomax custom, has light
showing the entire length of the table from the opening to the end. I also
tested the last one that I played on, a Vandoren M13. I gave this one up
because I couldn't get the volume out of it that I wanted. I thought it was
just too closed for me, but upon doing this concavity test, I discovered that
the slightest bit of light comes through a very small place about half way
down the mouthpiece. Could this give the results that I thought was cause by
the tip opening?
