I suppose the clarinet is still in it’s infancy as
related to other things and truly not considered on
it’s own merits. Is that not always the way?? The
manufacturers of violins today almost always copy
master violin makers of the past such as Stradivarius,
Guarneri, Bergoni, Rugeri and many more…. in
concept!!!! There is always a debate about what YEAR
to copy but never the validity of the concept… Does
anyone questions this practice and call it a marketing
ploy?? No!!! The Buffet Crampon Vintage clarinet is
not a mater of, “Do I drink Coke… or Coke Classic?”
