William O. Smith wrote Variants for Solo Clarinet that is all multiphonics.
I knew someone who was a friend of William O. Smith and that person said
Smith was always coming up with new multiphonics. He would say "Hey, listen
to this!" and the other person would always say "Ok. So what are you going
to do with it?" He aparantly found something to do with all of them. Also
there is the Revolutions by Paul Zohn, John Eaton's Concert Music for Solo
Clarinet, and Donald Martino's Strata. Most of this was written in the late
60's and early 70's. The Smith and the Berg are the only ones I have ever
messed with. I do not know when the Berg was written. I personnally don't
enjoy that type of noise (oops, music), but some people like spinach and some
people don't. Whatever floats your boat.
