This is not a clarinet phenomenon.

If you have a look at guitar manufacturers you will see a great number of
reissue of 50's and 60's guitars as well. Indeed there is a new resurgence
of interest in old analogue keyboard synthesisers as opposed to the new
digital ones.

OK, Mark, but don't you agree that they apparently havn't made any real
improvements if they are now peddling a 1950's model. They are admitting
that their tinkering has been for naught.
