have a Buffet A Clarinet which bares no serial number, no model number.
It is imprionted with two stars on each joint

*
BUFFET
A PARIS
*

the upper joint is marked

*
BUFFET
A PARIS
A.GARDELLI
BARI
*

I have not been able to get any information about it.
There is no "orb" as with the modern mark.

Why no serail number and why the different logo?

Was there another Buffet, or was this a custom made instrument, perhaps
made for a player named Gardelli Bari, and this was a A of a set?

Cheers, Leo

Dear Leo,

Looking at the logo you put on the list make me think that the
instrument was made by Denis Buffet (the Father) is the instrument made
out of box wood? how many keys does the instrument has? if you could
give me more information I may find out for you. There is 90% chances
that the instrument was made between 1825 and 1830 by Denis Buffet. For
the name under it may be the name of the distributor or the player that
first owned the instrument again with more infos I may find out for
sure.

Musically yours,
