Hi, Listers -
Let me preface this by confessing immediately to my overwhelming
ignorance of all things technical, which has caused me to skip over most
posts dealing with such matters, something I now regret.
Yesterday, I was (finally!) introduced to our college's Disklavier.
"Wow! This is really cool!" I thought, "Now the kids can practice with
accompaniments whenever they want! All I have to do is build up a library!"
So, in order to avoid asking the already-overworked piano faculty to
record the entire repertoire for me, where do you find these things available
commercially? David, is this what you do, or is that a different technology?
Perhaps we'd want to answer this off-list so as not to start up the
whole commercial thread again! :)
Again, I apologize if there is an obvious answer to this. I'm still
learning, and, so far, am doing really well just being able to send and
receive email. Just ask my teenage son.
Thanks!
Susan Schwaegler
