Heh...the problem here is that...if I recall correctly...it was Wagner
being Wagner as usual, lying and cheating to get something that doesn't
belong to him (don't even bring up the conductor's wife!).

I'm pretty sure the piece you are referring to ISN'T Wagner, but Carl
Baermann's. This has come to light in most recent years, although for
some reason, the piece is still published with Wagner's name on it. Any
research you are looking for might be under Baermann's name, though.
