Deborah,

I too love this little piece and have done it with orchestra and string
quintet a number of times. Shortly before leaving the Buffalo Philharmonic
I performed, Semyon Bychkov conducting, the Weber Concertino with the
Wagner/Baermann Adagio directly following, as a sort of programmed encore.
Combining the two pieces seemed to work quite well.
