Yes, that 'someone' was me. I actually don't know if Opperman
is still performing, recording, etc. But pay attention, people!

This person:

-- is alive.
-- is American.
-- has taught at least one Big 5 orchestra clarinetist
-- is still performing and recording
-- holds some kind of record in the clarinet world
-- is a major major player
-- is in some way linked to the word "Uncle"
