BTW, speaking of Giora, I've been looking around the city for a CD he
recorded called "Clarinettango," a collection of Astor Piazzola music
scored for the screech-stick. Feidman, with his Argentinian roots,
would have heard a lot of this stuff; it's probably in his blood as much
as klezmer. But the CD is not around. Anyone out there know where it
might be purchased in the City?
