I just got through hearing Burt Hara play the Poulenc Sonata (live), and
this has been bugging me for several years: does anyone know if there's
any connection between the last movement of the sonata and the second
movement of Prokovieff's 5th symphony? Every time I hear the Poulenc it
reminds me of the clarinet lick in the Prokovieff, and it seems like
they're somehow related. Or am I dreaming?
