At one time in the not too distant past there were a series of books on the
subject written and published by Robert Schmidt, who I believe served quite
an apprenticeship under Hans Moening in Philadelphia. Any one out there who
recalls this? I had these works and loaned them to a student who still has
them. Playing in some opera orchestra in Switzerland-may never see them
again.
