It must be simply supply and demand. Even the Brand book, properly refered
to in an earlier post as the Bible of instrument repair, was out of print
for a while. If demand was hot, that never would have happened. The
Klarinet List community is clearly NOT representative of clarinetists in
general, yet even among us you would sell only a handful of books. The
vast majority of players are simply not interested in doing their own
repairs, or recognize their own limitations and don't attempt it. With a
potential market that small, major publishers will not be interested in
such a book.
