Bob Schmidt, who taught at Ithaca College until he died, had a "Care and
Repair" book that he self published. He actually revised it to include
photos. It used to be available through Hickey's Music in Ithaca - don't
know if it still is. Bob studied with Hans Moennig during his student
days, and always seemed *very* knowledgeable about repairs.

If anyone is interested, I can ask around about it's availability.
Hickey's should still be in the Ithaca (NY, US) phone book.
