Alas and alack,
I have read all of the afore mentioned books and none of them goes =
beyond the VERY basics. I have seen the Saska book and it is the best, =
but I still believe there is a need for a very thorough treatise on the =
subject. One of my life long goals is to put my 24 years of repair =
experience into a book with A LOT of clear photographs for reference.
My intemtion is to cover the basics by taking a person step by step =
through a complete overhaul.
From there I would like to have additional chapters on customizing =
keys, tuning and voicing and crack pinning. There will also be a chapter =
on mouthpiece work.
Like I said - a long term, life time goal.
