Subj: [kl] A joyous morning!!

I tuned into NY's WQXR this morning while on the web, and they played
the last movement of the Dvorak piece for winds (and two strings if I
remember correctly). Is that the Op. 44 or have I forgotten something?
The group was the unconducted wind section of the Orpheus Chamber
players. It was simply a magnificient performance which reinforces the
view that when you have great players, you don't need much else.

Such a marvellous piece. And such a sensational performance. It has
made my day.
