Tony--

Love the web page. Fascinating stuff about the historical instruments, and
clarinet playing in general. The format works so much better than the
written word for much of it.

It appears that the site was produced by taking a video tape and chopping it
up into manageable bits. Is it possible to purchase complete video tape of
the entire program, either from you or your record company? It would be
very useful to lend to students, I think.

Don't get me wrong -- I am all for pointing kids to the internet. I *love*
the internet; it pays my mortgage. Many kids don't have a connection that
will support streaming video efficiently, however.

I've posted this to the list rather than privately because (a) you deserve
public kudos for the site, (b) there are many teachers who read this thing,
and I'm taking the opportunity to point out that should visit your site (see
(a)) and (c) the other teachers may want copies as well.

I could just set up a digital video camera and take the bits off the web, I
suppose. The sound and picture quality would suffer, though. It would also
be quite illegal, which I'm not prone to do.

Thanks muchly,

kjf
