Greetings Jon,
My personal preference for Eb is the Buffet RC. Lisa sent me
four instruments (2 Buffets, 1RC, & 1 Leblanc) to try and the
RC outplayed the others in tone quality and intonation. However
I'm with Walter, making up fingerings for Eb seems to be routine!
I've only played about 4 other Eb's that were all Buffets, each
OK, but not that well in-tune. Someone here in Albuquerque has
just purchased a Patricola and I'm looking forward to hearing or
trying it sometime soon. So far I've been incredibly pleased with
the sound of the RC in NMSO. Best of luck!
