My only suggestion is to play like you love to play the instrument - try
to forget that you are doing an audition. Don't let your nerves get the
better of you. You are trying your best and your best is all you can do.
Just think of a really pleasing sentimental moment in your life and play with
passion to that image. You know you play better than all the other people
auditioning there and you will pass the audition.

Every time I play a concert, I just go in there thinking of my happiest
moments and play to that. I try to love the clarinet and play to that.

Remember that I am only an amateur clarinetist BUT I still love to play
and I really feel that it is God given talent to be able to play like that.
So, I try to share it with others when I can. Good luck - or - should I say
Break a Leg??
