Edward Pillinger makes mouthpieces for Uebel
basses and Uebel basset horns. Ed Pillinger's
mouthpiece are suitable for use with French reeds.
He uses an "Urban", Hamburg resin mouthpiece
as a starting point for the basset horn.
It hard not to play a solo on the Uebel bass.
Its sound is quite distinctive.
