David,

I read my post again and I'm not sure what you are objecting to. Nowhere did
I tell anyone else to use a Bonade. I merely gave the reasons why I am making a switch
to the Bonade. Nor did I directly tell anyone else to stop using whatever ligature
they are using. Frankly, if they what to use shoelace, that's fine, as far as I am concerned , because it won't affect my
sound at all. But some people might be interested to hear the thought processes that another
Clarinetist is going through, if they are struggling with the same decision. Not everyone can afford a $75.00 ligature.
It is helpful to some to know that there is a less expensive option people should know about it.
