Hmmm - that high schooler you described sounds just like me. 27 years ago.
Black leather jacket, Sear black steel toed work boots & Triumph TT500. Long
hair, funny smelling smoke nearby, and a bottle of Annie Green Springs
strapped on the back of the bike.

See - things don't change all _that_ much.
