We ARE getting on with the topic of the moment (language and
communication). This is now the second time you've tried to cut off
this topic. I believe Dan (and others) who want to continue this
discussion should certainly do so. Clarinettists are, first and
foremost, complex people of intelligence, not technique or tone quality
machines. Learning comes in many forms, and in some way, all discussion
contributes to our ability to improve as musicians and soulful human
beings.

Besides, people on this list WOULD continue to write about ligatures if
they wanted to, and some, you included may certainly do so. Those
interested will respond. As Dan said, "The topics flow as list members
choose...".

Cheers

Audrey
