I am not sure if you all remember my questions about purchasing a used
Boozie Hawkes? Well, I finally got my hands on it. It seems to be in fair
shape, needs oiling, has a good tone. The series # is 2-22. The shop owner
is asking $549.00, but said he would give me a better deal on it.

I also have a Buffet (no model number I can find), loaned from a friend. It
is a superb instrument, well cared for, 3 years old. My friend paid $2200
for it as says she will sell it to me for $1200.

Also, this same friend has a clarinet in the key of C. Boy it is a great
sounding instrument. It doesn't look much different than a Bb, a bit
shorter. Does anyone know if it is possible to adjust a Bb to a C or know
anything about where to purchase a Key C clarinet?

I really don't know if I want to purchase a Bb, I really would like to have
something different. A Base, Eb, or a C. I really liked the sound of the C
and I do also like the low sounds of base.

Dixie
