I'm not familiar with the Gomez cushion but have been experimenting with
various items with similar intentions and so far have found that denture
cushions do a good job of padding my sharp lower teeth. They're curved
pads, made of what appears to be a thin layer of cotton or gauze covered
with a layer of wax. I snip off about an inch, warm in my mouth a minute
then press firmly over the lower teeth and they last in place until I take
them off. Does a good job for me and inexpensive as well. They come in a box
of around 6 cushions, and each one can be cut up into at least 4 little pads
so ought to last quite a while. They're cheap and you could probably afford
to use a new one each time you play - up to you.
