The only legal advice that would be worth anything is the kind that a lawyer
would give you after reading your lease and interpreting the law (if any).
Beware of people "that know about ..." unless they will represent you in
court, pay your legal fees, and/or will put you up if you get thrown out of
your apartment.

Sometimes churches will let you practice in their facilities for free - it
wouldn't hurt to ask around.
